Conard Bulletin Wednesday, December 10th

Today we still have visitors in the school building. They are members of the NEASC accreditation team, and they will be observing in classrooms and around the building. Please continue to be your respectful, engaged, and welcoming selves. We're excited to share all the great things happening at Conard!

Cybersecurity Club will have a meeting today, right after school in room 179. All are welcome and no prior experience needed.

Come support the Hall-Conard girls hockey team as they host East Catholic in their home opener tonight at 7:20pm. All WHPS students get in for free by showing their school ID, you must show your school ID for free admission. See you at the rink!

If you’re planning to attend Community College, then you are encouraged to attend our Senior Workshops today that’s being held in the College Career Center, where we will help you apply to Community College. This is a great opportunity to make sure you have everything ready for your next steps after graduation. Our school counseling interns will be there to help you apply to college and answer any questions that you may have. Join us at any time during the school day but If you can't make it today, we will be holding seminars next Wednesday as well.

The Animal shelter club is doing a donation drive today (Wed) at Pet Supplies Plus in Bishops corner from 2-4:30. Please come support our pets in need with any pet food or pet toys. If you don’t have any pet food you can always purchase it while your visiting the store.

The WiSTEM club is always welcoming new members and has some great activities coming up. Current members got to meet a recent Conard grad who spoke at the actuarial sciences program at UCONN and there are more visitors to come. Our next meeting is tomorrow in room 271. 

There will be a yearbook meeting tomorrow, after school in room 195. Any staff who cannot attend should see Ms. Piretti.

Come join us for our presentation on Sea Birds at the Marine Biology club which will be meeting in room 124 tomorrow after school. And of course, snacks will be provided.

The Conard Musical Team is excited to share that the application for this year's Set Construction and Painting Team is now LIVE! Everyone who applies will be accepted to this team, and dedicated members will be given consideration for ultimate selection on our Backstage Crew for ANYTHING GOES!  The deadline is tomorrow.  Please scan the QR code outside the Black Box for more information.

There is also a slew of new photo categories posted in the Google Classroom including: Seniors and their pets, Best Friends, Conard Spirit, Seniors and their Siblings, Field Trips and many more! We would love to have your best photos submitted.

Also, seniors make sure you pre-order your yearbook, it’s currently $77.
