Board Of Education

West Hartford has an elected seven-member Board of Education which is required by State Statute and Town Charter to oversee public education.

      A.  Ratification of the Local 1303-39, AFSCME Council 4, Custodians' Contract

            Recommendation:  THAT the Board of Education ratify the 
            negotiated pension agreement between Local 1303-39, AFSCME Council 4, 
            Custodians and the Board of Education, for the period of 
            July1, 2010 through June 30, 2014

     B.  Ratification of the Local 1303-61, AFSCME Council 4, Maintenance Contract

           Recommendation:  THAT the Board of Education ratify the 
           negotiated pension agreement between Local 1303-61, AFSCME Council 4, 
           Maintenance Employees' and the Board of Education, for the period 
           of July1, 2010 through June 30, 2013
